set about to re-establish the link with Africa. In 2004 Denis Murphy and Anthony Leahy along with Anne Cleary and Spiritans Richard Olin C.S.Sp. With the decline in vocations and the retirement of priests from the teaching staff,unfortunately this “African factor” was lost. The school had a great connection with Africa through missionaries who would return to the school to teach and tell stories of their experiences on the continent to the students. The immersion project was set up to re-establish the link between the school and Africa.
